An early show at ATV all about the Press, DEADLINE MIDNIGHT, if I remember correctly. It must have been one of my first jobs. Life was so much simpler easier in those days! And maybe more fun? We did not take life quite so seriously, although we had some pretty serious issues to worry about. I remember the Cuban missile crisis in 1962 , going to bed and wondering if we would all still be alive the next morning, or been blown to bits by a nuclear bomb. Scary stuff. We came through, thanks to the steely resolve of US President John Kennedy, who did not blink.
I used to be a tech buff, but now I am beginning to hate it. What with security issues, fear of copyright theft, endless upgrades and checks, it’s becoming a chore to use instead of a pleasure and maybe one day in the not too distant future, I will give up. I love to share photos, images with you, past and present and they make a blog more interesting, lively, but unless they are personal, they are getting more difficult to share. So hopefully you enjoy reading rather than viewing.
Anyway I am going to share a couple more pictures old and new now, and thumb my nose at technology and all those commands to prove who I am, where I live, how old am I, text numbers to my phone as a “double layer of security”. I was going to add a lovely picture from GET LOST the new film on Alice Through the Looking Glass, in which I play the White Queen, just filmed in August but the best I can do is send a link:
And here are a few more pictures one from the other film I just made in August: LETTERS FROM LOST LOVERS
and old one – favourite GIDEONS WAY
and one more with Oliver Reed -THE SYSTEM
not forgetting DANGER MAN!
and of course THE LION IN WINTER
And one more one recent one!
