Hello again. I had so much fun reading the short story from DRINKING WITH DEAD WOMEN WRITERS by AK Turner and Elaine Ambrose, that I have decided to do more. Got to keep that old performing muscle working! And I do like these stories and the writing very much. The two local Idaho writers, have struck a chord and I like their humour and caring appreciation of their subjects.
Margaret Mead
Margaret Mead was a renowned anthropologist and writer, who had quite a profound effect on the feminist culture and women’s liberation. Although I have never claimed to be an openly strong feminist, I do sympathise and identify with many of the issues which liberated women from a patriarchal male society….provided we don’t “throw the baby out with the bath water” and leave men so emasculated, that they question their role in society. Respect for each other and balance all the way I say. Just my thoughts on the subject. If you don’t know much about Margaret Mead, may I respectfully suggest that you look her up!
