A Favourite Part -CARMILLA – the vampire for ITV
Horror sells, always has always will. I am happy that my short Gothic Horror Films are streaming as one film at last on Amazon. com and UK…here’s the US link: http://bit.ly/NewChillingTales, do hope you watch and enjoy them. I did enjoy making them and would love to do more.

When I was a kid, I used to love listening to the radio….we weren’t quite rich enough to have a TV…that came later. I didn’t mind, I loved the radio, somehow the sounds can often stimulate the imagination more than visuals, where the story is more spelled out for you. There was a radio show in the UK called THE MAN IN BLACK , with a presenter by the name of Valentine Dyall, who had the deepest, darkest voice imaginable…perfectly suited to horror stories. My uncle who lived with us, built me a little radio, a crystal set, very simple, but it worked and I would bury my head under the covers and listen to this little thing (it didn’t have much range) and scare myself to death, listening to Mr Valentine Dyall. THE BEAST WITH FIVE FINGERS was the one I really remember…..about a disembodied hand running around a house……I was nearly sick with fright! You don’t need a lot of gore and violence to be scared, the sheer horror of the human mind at its worst is horrific enough.
Here’s a little Horror Poem THE WITCH:
